The University Graduate Commencement ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 3:00 pm. This is the official awarding of Master’s degrees only.
Our department’s ceremony will be the official awarding of CAGS and CGS degrees AND a celebration of master’s recipients.

These requirements must be completed in order to complete your degree:
1. RSVP for The Virtual (Zoom) Celebration for Graduates:
Clinical Counseling (Holistic and Rehabilitation), Leadership Dynamics and Practice, Expressive and Creative Arts
We have created this event to be an official awarding of CGS and CAGS certificates. MA recipients are also honored at this event, but degrees are awarded at the university commencement. Note that you will have the opportunity to individually address the group, sharing memories, insights, future plans, a wish for your classmates. Graduating students are welcome to invite guests to the event. Please indicate their names on the RSVP.

2. RSVP to the Graduate & Professional Studies Reception:
Thursday, May 16th, 4:30 – 6:00 pm
Following the 3 PM Commencement

All members of our Graduate Programs and a guest are invited to attend the Graduate Studies Annual Reception. Mingle and network with fellow students, faculty and staff. Enjoy the beautiful Oceanside setting. Additionally, it would be appreciated if you could extend this invitation to a friend, family member or colleague who may have interest in pursuing one of Salve’s graduate programs. We welcome prospective students to connect with the University community.

3. Complete your Exit Interview Questionnaire
Exit interview questionnaires are REQUIRED for all 2024 graduates in the 60-credit counseling programs.
(Expressive Arts graduates will schedule an exit interview directly with Christopher Carbone.)
Your feedback is helpful as we strive to create and maintain programming that supports our students and moves us forward in the CACREP accreditation process.
4. Create & Upload a Bio
For Graduating COU/ LDP/ ECA Students, we would like to include a brief biography of your accomplishments in our next newsletter.
